Witness the longest total solar eclipse of the century from Egypt on Monday 2 August 2027. Four days built around one unforgettable afternoon: explore the Grand Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids of Giza, Memphis and Saqqara, then travel south into the path of totality to watch more than six minutes of darkness at midday, and finish in Old Cairo. Sightseeing days are private, with your own vehicle and Egyptologist guide; the eclipse-day trip runs on a shared coach from Cairo. This itinerary is a starting point: your schedule is adjusted to your real arrival and departure times. Contact us on WhatsApp (+201064455175) to book or to tailor the days to your plans.
Early-Bird Offer: 35% OFF — Regular price $1,950, now just $1,268 per person. The discount gets smaller as eclipse day approaches and availability runs out.
Please Note: Sightseeing days are private, exclusively for your own group. The eclipse-day trip is a shared coach: we pick you up from your hotel, or take you by private car to a nearby coach meeting point, and you travel with other eclipse guests to our viewing site. Hotel accommodation and lunch are not included but can be added on request.

A Traventira driver meets you at Cairo International Airport with a name sign and takes you to your hotel to check in and rest after your flight.
In the afternoon your Egyptologist guide takes you through the Grand Egyptian Museum: the complete Tutankhamun collection, the colossal statue of Ramesses II, the Grand Staircase and the Khufu solar boat. Start time is adjusted to your arrival.
Start at the Giza Plateau with the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, the panoramic viewpoint and the Great Sphinx. Continue to Saqqara and the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest stone pyramid in the world, then Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt, with the fallen colossus of Ramesses II and the alabaster sphinx. Back at your hotel by mid-afternoon. Early night recommended: eclipse-day pickup is at 4:00 AM.
Pickup from your hotel at about 4:00 AM, or a short private transfer to the nearest coach meeting point. Coaches leave Cairo at set times and drive about 4.5–5 hours south to our viewing site in Assiut Governorate, inside the path of totality. Water and snacks on board.
Settle in at our viewing site with shade, restrooms and cold water, and receive certified solar eclipse glasses. The partial phase begins around 11:40 AM; totality arrives around 1:00 PM and lasts about six minutes, turning midday into twilight with the solar corona, stars and planets visible. The partial phase ends around 2:25 PM. The exact site is confirmed closer to the date in line with official arrangements. Expect temperatures above 40°C: bring a hat, sunscreen and light clothing.
The coach leaves after the eclipse and arrives back in Cairo in the evening, around 8–9 PM, with drop-off at your hotel or the meeting point and a private car to your hotel.
Visit the Citadel of Saladin and the Mohammed Ali Mosque with its view over the city, the Hanging Church and the old lanes of Coptic Cairo, then Al-Muizz Street and the Khan El Khalili bazaar for shopping and a coffee at a traditional café. Suitable for departure flights after 6:00 PM; for an earlier flight we arrange a direct airport transfer instead.
Private transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight home.
